I present at national conferences, participate in panels, and lead workshops. I design sessions around real questions and concerns, not hype or demos. My goal is plain language, concrete examples, and space for reflection — especially for audiences navigating AI for the first time. Thoughtful adoption begins with understanding, not acceleration.

Delivered April 30, 2026, via Zoom. A practical introduction to the AI tools, resources, and communities available at Yale, with starting points for exploring AI safely, asking better questions of AI systems, and connecting with colleagues learning alongside you. Co-hosted with WWN, YLNG, Day, FLY, and The Asian Network at Yale.

Delivered March 24, 2026. A practical session on AI tools and prompting for academic affairs and student life workflows, covering email efficiency, data analysis, academic-record tracking, and post-event evaluations.
NERCOMP AI Leadership Academy and Applied AI Studio
Delivered March 2, 5, and 9, 2026. Faculty for “Leading Responsible AI Adoption in Higher Education,” hybrid workshops on AI leadership, ethics, governance, bias, organizational change management, and human-centered adoption. On March 9 also facilitated the Applied AI Studio, “Moving AI Ideas Into Action,” a hands-on sprint turning AI concepts into institutional prototypes.
Using AI to Scale Podcast Promotion
Delivered March 3, 2026. Presented the AI-powered production workflow behind Yale College Voices, from question generation and transcript-to-description conversion to social content creation, with a live demo.
Practical AI Tips I Use Every Day
Delivered December 5, 2025. A practical introduction to Yale-approved AI tools, including Clarity, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT, covering prompting, automating email, calendar, and document work, and data privacy. About 30 staff attended, and 92% reported feeling more confident trying the tools afterward.
AI Innovation and Impact at Yale: Building an AI Support Ecosystem in a Decentralized University
Invited to present on the intersection of AI adoption and institutional equity, introducing the practitioner-scholar model to a national audience of higher ed IT leaders.
NERCOMP AI Leadership Academy
Delivered November 3–13, 2025. Served as faculty and a planning committee member, and moderated sessions focused on student services and ethical AI governance for regional IT leaders.

Yale College Voices
I created and lead Yale College Voices, a multi-platform storytelling initiative where I shape editorial direction, lead production, and manage distribution across eight digital channels. Now in its fourth season, it functions as an institutional platform for amplifying staff and faculty voices, building community across Yale College, and creating visibility for the kind of work that rarely gets a public stage. It's listed in Yale's official podcast directory and embedded in Yale College's web presence.

Short Bio (150 words)
Darice Corey is the Senior Director of Web and IT Planning at Yale College, where she leads digital strategy, AI governance, and IT operations for one of the country's most complex liberal arts institutions. With 19 years at Yale, she has built her career at the intersection of technology, institutional strategy, and student experience. She co-leads Yale's AI support model, led the student developer team that built Yale Xplore, and co-developed Designing Your Career, used by 7,100+ users across 83 institutions. She also created and leads Yale College Voices, an institutional storytelling platform now in its fourth season with 105K+ annual impressions. An Executive DBA candidate at Fairfield University researching AI governance in decentralized universities, she is a Next Leaders Fellow, a Webby People's Voice Award winner, a recipient of Yale's Linda K. Lorimer Presidential Award for Distinguished Service, and a U.S. Congressional Commendation recipient.
