Privacy, in plain language.

This is my personal website. It uses two analytics tools to help me understand what's useful and improve the site. It does not sell your data, show ads, or ask for sensitive information. You can opt out in one click below.

Your choice

Analytics are on for your visit.

This setting is saved in your browser, so it applies to this device and browser as you move around the site. It requires cookies/storage to be enabled.

The details.

  • 01 Google Analytics 4. Aggregate visit data — which pages you view, roughly where you are (from your IP, not a precise location), your device and browser type, and how you arrived (e.g., a search engine or a link). Used to understand overall traffic.
  • 02 Microsoft Clarity. Heatmaps and anonymized session replays of how visitors interact with this site — clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — so I can see what's working. Text you'd type is masked by default, it only records activity on this site, and it cannot see other browser tabs, other websites, or your browser itself.
  • 03 The contact form. If you choose to message me, your name, email, and message are sent (via Formspree) so I can reply. That's the only information you actively provide, and it's used only to respond to you.

Other ways to opt out.

The one-click toggle at the top is the easiest. You can also opt out at the browser level, which applies across all websites:

  • Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop Google Analytics on every site.
  • Use a privacy-focused browser or a tracker-blocking extension, or turn on your browser's tracking-protection setting.
  • Clear or block cookies for this site in your browser settings.

Third-party policies & contact.

These tools have their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement, and Formspree Privacy Policy.
